Do you fancy a morning trying out sketching and creating an artwork inspired by the Museum Gardens in York?
This will be during York Open Studios. So why not spend a morning sketching and drawing with me and then go off and look around the Open Studios? Maybe you're spending a weekend in York and would like to do some art? You don't need to have any experience, but if you do, that's good too.

Course Format :
1. INSIDE - Introduction to sketching and gathering material - a quick slideshow of how I gather material for sketching - some drawing warm-ups.
2. OUTSIDE - short walking tour in the beautiful Museum Gardens/River Ouse/Lendal Bridge - I’ll show you how I gather inspiration
3. INSIDE - I’ll teach you how to work from the materials you have gathered and help you to create an artwork - you will use collage, watercolour pencils, charcoal, chalk, ink and wash, crayons and graphite
