"These paintings are inspired by what I see as the music and movement of Nature - I call them Musical Abstracts - expressing winds and floods, the curve of a hill, a spark of light in soft mists. They are an interplay of colour and gesture where I'm aiming for an uplifting sense of energy and immediecy. "
